Weathered wood carries layers of time—sun-bleached boards, rusted hardware, and shadows cast by functional remnants. The surface becomes a record of use and exposure, where structure and decay coexist in quiet balance.
 
Surface is a study of material, texture, and the visible imprint of time. These photographs focus closely on stone, metal, wood, and built elements shaped by weathering, use, and natural processes. Removed from broad context, each image highlights how surface records history—through erosion, patina, repetition, and wear.
