Painted wood fades into mineral tones of red, blue, and gray, interrupted by a taut line of rope. Knots, grain, and pigment interact like a natural abstraction—evidence of work, weather, and time embedded in the surface itself.
 
Surface is a study of material, texture, and the visible imprint of time. These photographs focus closely on stone, metal, wood, and built elements shaped by weathering, use, and natural processes. Removed from broad context, each image highlights how surface records history—through erosion, patina, repetition, and wear.
